Application for GitHub Education not working

Hi everyone,

I am currently trying to renew my student license with GitHub Education. I uploaded my official transcripts in a .jpg file and the application went through. Sadly, I got rejected due to an incomplete billing information. I followed the steps to complete all the information from my profile to reapply. However, when I try to submit any .jpg picture now it just reloads and shows a warning sign without any details.

I have tried three different web browsers and two different computers. All get the same result.

If anyone knows how I could solve this issue, I would be immensely grateful.

Hi @santy-estrada,

Usually this issue is solved by submitting the application using another device, such as a smartphone or another PC.

These users solved it by using the phone: #162877, #168688

If none of the above works, I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select "Other" and explain your problem.

Using a different PC did not work as previously mentioned, and phone pictures were rejected because of poor resolution. What worked for me was changing the format of the picture from .jpg to .png.

Hey, unfortunately I my application was denied twice so far. I tried different devices for application. I am enrolled in a distance learning program and provided all necessary documents (transcript of records, certificate of enrollment), nothing worked. I have an official university e-mail address and my billing information is up to date. Also 2FA is activated.

I have the same issue, distance program. Sent the document by phone, then by pc, but always rejected for billing info I alredy filled. I'm from Brazil. Here the dates come as 'day/month/year' and I get a warning the date is incorrect or isn't available in the document, whats is actually false...
