I added a debit card to access to the free month. The card had 0 money in it's account, and the opportunity was lost, it said that i was getting the free month but now i have nothing and it's asking to change to pro again. I want to use the free month, i've put money in it but it is now charging me the full month. I want to opt to the free trial, please.

I’m writing regarding an issue with the GitHub Pro free trial.

I added my debit card to activate the free one-month trial. At the time of verification, the card account had a zero balance. The system initially indicated that the free trial was activated, but shortly afterward the trial was lost, and my account now prompts me to upgrade to Pro again.

I have since added sufficient funds to the card, but now I’m being charged for the full month instead of being able to use the free trial that was originally offered.

I did not intend to skip or forfeit the free trial, and this appears to have happened due to the temporary zero balance during card verification. I kindly request if it’s possible to restore or reapply the free one-month trial to my account.

I recently tried to activate the free trial for Copilot by adding a debit card that initially had a zero balance. At that time, the trial didn’t activate, and I lost the opportunity. Now that I’ve added funds to the card, the system is prompting me to subscribe to the full Pro plan instead.

I would like to use the free trial that I originally intended to activate. Could you please help me enable the free month without being charged?
