I suggest go to Copilot settings to see when was it charged. I applied, same thing, but I did not get charged for the 1st month. |

If you added your card and started Copilot Pro first, the paid subscription may have already kicked in. When the 30-day free trial was offered afterward, it doesn’t always cancel that initial billing. The $10 charge is likely for the first paid month, not the trial itself. Check Settings → Billing and plans → Plans and usage to see the exact start date and billing period. If the charge overlaps with your trial or doesn’t look right, open a billing support ticket with the dates you added your card, started the trial, and when the charge happened. Support can verify it and refund it if needed. |

Same issue I had and no clear refund procedure... This looks it was made by intentions to confuse you and charge... No easy way to ask refund... |

Body
I'm encountering an issue with the Copilot Pro subscription.
I initially tried to subscribe to Copilot Pro and provided the necessary billing information (including card details).
Subsequently, GitHub Copilot offered me a free trial for 30 days.
I activated this free trial subscription.
However, despite being on the free trial, I received a charge of $10 to my card details today.
Could you please help me why this charge occurred even though I am currently on the free trial?
